On tap@: Scully’s Signature Dine and Drink in Asheville, NC
Rating: 4 out of 5 Pints. This maybe the best Zwickel beer I have ever had. But then again, it may also be the only Zwickel beer I’ve had. Very refreshing and smooth.

Beer: Houblon Chouffe-IPA Tripel
Brewer: Brasserie d’Achouffe - Achouffe village Wallonia, Belgium
Website: http://www.achouffe.be/en
In bottle @:Brabo Tasting Room
Rating: 4 out of 5 Pints. Great mixture of IPA bitterness and the fruitiness of a tripel. This is the 2nd Brasserie d’Achouffe beer reviewed; the first was their la chouffe which remains their signature beer in my mind- however this is another great offering.
My friend Nicola Moore is raising funds to launch an online game about the national debt. The game recently was voted “Most Likely to Succeed” at the Games for Change Festival.
Rating: 5 Pints! A online game where people can learn how to fix the future! I’ll drink to that.
Bar Review.
Establishment:Brian Boru
Location: 57 Center Street Portland, ME 04101
Website: http://www.brianboruportland.com/
Rating: 4 out of 5 pints. Just a tad walk off the Old Port; Brian Boru is an early corner stone of what is Portland now thriving night life.
Don’t miss Reggae every Thursday Night and the large upstairs backdeck with its ”Drinking Consultants” sign which whimsically taunts the signage of Portland’s downtown consultants, law firms, and accounting practices it faces.
